Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Head & Shoulders Brand Champion Challenge! A first-of-its-kind competition crafted exclusively for aspiring student creators!

Head & Shoulders is the one-stop solution for anything related to dandruff & scalp care. It is the World’s No 1 Shampoo & the No.1 choice of Dermatologists against dandruff.

Eligibility:

  • Open to all students ready to showcase their marketing abilities! Undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline, studying at colleges across India.
  • Open to students from all streams - no creative or technical background required!
  • Open to working professionals. 
  • Participants must be based in India.

Rules and Guidelines:

  • Participants must follow Head & Shoulders' Community Guidelines at all times: Click Here
  • All submissions must be original and NEW videos - no repurposed or previously published content will be accepted - even if it’s videos the same creator has made.
  • All videos must be at least 15 seconds long.
  • Videos should tell a story and highlight the participant’s creativity and individuality.
  • Each entry must include the official hashtag #UnstopforHeadandShoulders #HeadandShouldersContest #pgcareers. 
  • A maximum of five (5) Social Media links can be submitted before the deadline.
  • Posts can be submitted anytime during the submission window and may be updated until the final deadline.
  • The submission window is open from February 17, 2026 to March 22, 2026.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Sponsor: The Contest is sponsored by Procter & Gamble Home Products Private Limited (“Company”). Participation in the Contest constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”).
  • Eligibility:
    • The Contest is open only to legal residents of India aged 18 years or above and currently enrolled in a recognised college/university.
    • Participants must have a public Instagram and/or YouTube account
    • nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions or arising from participation in the Contest shall be construed as granting any ownership rights, partnership, agency, endorsement, employment relationship, or future commercial rights to any participant.
  • Contest Period: The Contest shall run from 17 February 2026 to 22 March 2026. (“Contest Period”). Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.
  • How to Participate: Adherence to the brief is mandatory.
    • Create an original short-form video (minimum 15 seconds) featuring Head & Shoulders in line with the official brief.
    • Upload the content on Instagram and/or YouTube Shorts with a public profile.
    • Include the prescribed hashtags and tag the official brand pages.
    • Ensure the key brand message in the brief (“Up to 100% Dandruff Protection with Head & Shoulders”) is clearly communicated.
    • No product purchase is required, the Company will not be liable for any reimbursements incurred towards creating the content.
    • Multiple entries are permitted; however, each entry must be unique.
  • Content Guidelines: Submitted content (“Entry”) must:
    • Be original and created by the participant.
    • Clearly feature Head & Shoulders product and logo.
    • Not feature or contain:
      • Abusive, violent, obscene, sexually explicit or defamatory material
      • Political references
      • Religious or sensitive social content
      • Disclaimers: *Only Visible Flakes. With regular use of at least 3 times a week **As surveyed with Dermatologists aware of Head & Shoulders at the 2023 World Congress of Dermatology, Singapore Head & Shoulders UGC Brief o Competing brands/products/ logos/ celebrities
      • Copyrighted music or third-party intellectual property without permission ((e.g., music, video clips, photos, movie dialogue, logos, names and likenesses of public or private figures, living or dead)
      • Any health or medical advisory o Nudity or unsafe behaviour o Minors or content targeted at minors o Any derogatory, mocking, bullying, insulting content towards people suffering from dandruff.
      • The Company reserves the right to disqualify any Entry that violates these standards.
  • Judging & Selection: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, engagement, relevance to the brand, compliance with the brief, and overall quality. The organisers’ decision shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.. Winners will be contacted via their registered social media handle and/or provided contact details. If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, Company reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
  • Prizes: Gratification will be at the discretion of the sponsor. Details are shared in the brief. Decision regarding gratification will be final.
  • Intellectual Property & Usage Rights:
    • By participating, each participant grants the Company and its affiliates a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, distribute, display, and create derivative works from the Entry (in whole or part) across all media for marketing, advertising, PR, internal or commercial purposes.
    • Participants waive any moral rights in the Entry to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participants confirm they own all rights in their Entry and that no third-party rights are infringed.
    • Participation in the Contest does not grant participants any right, title, interest, licence, or claim of any nature whatsoever in or to the Company or Brand trademarks, brand names, logos, product designs, copyrights, trade dress, goodwill, or other intellectual property (“Company IP”). All Company IP shall remain the sole and exclusive property of the Company and/or its licensors.
    • Participants are permitted to use Company IP solely for the limited purpose of creating their Contest Entry in accordance with the official brief, and such permission shall automatically terminate upon completion of the Contest or earlier disqualification.
  • Right to Remove / Takedown: The Company reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to:
    • Request deletion of any Entry
    • Remove or report content on social platforms
    • Disqualify participants if the Entry is deemed non-compliant, misleading, harmful to brand reputation, or otherwise objectionable. The participants shall take down the content within 24 hours of such request, failure to do so shall make the participants liable for damages/ losses, if any suffered by the Company, or actions that the Company may choose to initiate. The Company may monitor and review posted content to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to assess performance, and may delegate this task to third parties. P&G (or the appointed third party) may use automation tools and/or AI to assist in this process.
  • No Disparagement: Participants must not publish any content or make any statement that may disparage, defame, or harm the reputation of the Company, Head & Shoulders, or any P&G brand or any other product of another company, during or after the Contest. Violation may result in immediate disqualification. The Company shall not be liable for any legal action initiated for violation of applicable laws or this clause. 11.
  • Advertising & Disclosure: Participants must clearly disclose that their post is part of a brand contest (e.g., using #Contest / #Ad where required) in accordance with platform rules and as indicated in the guidelines. Disclosures should be made in the first line of caption or visible on screen in the video and not hidden among hashtags. Any product claims must strictly follow the official messaging provided in the Guidelines forming part of these terms and conditions (Annexure A).
    The Participants shall further disclose whether the content has been generated using AI or computer generated images.
  • Data Protection: The College shall collect and share with the Company or its agencies, personal data, including name, contact details, college name, and social media handles, solely for Contest administration, winner communication, and promotional purposes.
    • Data will be processed in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws and P&G’s privacy policy https://privacypolicy.pg.com/en-US/ .
    • Participants consent to such processing by entering the Contest.
    • Participants shall not use personal data from others, for e.g., include other people in your content, without explicit authorization or consent. 
  • Representations & Indemnity: Participants represent that:
    • They meet eligibility requirements
    • Their Entry is lawful and original
    • They have obtained any required third-party consents
    • They have understood and agree to the brief and these terms and conditions. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any claims arising from breach of these representations. 
  • Limitation of Liability: The Company shall not be responsible for:
    • Technical failures, platform outages, or lost entries
    • Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation

    • Participation is at the participant’s own risk. 
  • Modification / Cancellation: The Company reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Contest at any time without prior notice for business or legal reasons.
  • Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
