All that you need to know about GrabHack 2.0: Shaping the Future
This hackathon challenges participants to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI to solve real-world, high-impact problems across engineering, operations, and financial services. The focus is not just on automation, but on building intelligent, agentic systems that can reason, act autonomously, and meaningfully augment human decision-making at scale.
Participants will work on problem statements across three core sub-themes. Engineering & Product Velocity focuses on using GenAI to accelerate the software development lifecycle by improving code quality, incident response, and system resilience. Operational Intelligence invites teams to reimagine enterprise functions such as HR, finance, collections, and customer support by embedding predictive, explainable, and autonomous AI directly into business workflows. Building New Generative Service Offerings (Fintech) encourages the creation of customer-facing AI-powered financial products, particularly for underserved segments like gig economy workers, with an emphasis on personalisation, financial wellness, and proactive insights.
Teams are expected to move beyond theoretical ideas and demonstrate practical, scalable solutions that showcase technical depth, responsible AI design, and clear business impact. Creativity, feasibility, and alignment with real operational challenges will be key to success.
