All that you need to know about Snapdragon® AI Lab Build & Present Challenge

Participants are invited to submit proposals aligned with the AI use case development. The proposed solution must be designed, developed, or intended to be optimized for Snapdragon-powered HP PCs. A proposal may be newly created or, if it existed before the Submission Period, significantly modified to add AI models from Qualcomm AI Hub or other open-source platforms.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Residents of the Republic of India who are 18 years of age or above may participate.
  • Each participant is responsible for securing any required authorization or permission from their employer.

The Challenge is not open to:

  • Individuals residing outside India.
  • Individuals affiliated with government agencies or state-owned entities.
  • Restricted Persons.
  • Organizations involved in the design, production, paid promotion, execution, or distribution of the Challenge.
  • Employees, representatives, and agents of Promotion Entities, and members of their immediate family or household.
  • Other individuals involved in the design, production, promotion, execution, or distribution of the Challenge, and members of their immediate family or household.
  • Any judge, or a company or individual that employs a judge.
  • A parent company, subsidiary, or other affiliate of an excluded organisation.
  • Any individual or organisation whose participation would create a real or apparent conflict of interest, as determined by the Sponsor and/or Administrator.

Submission Guidelines

What to Submit
The proposed solution must be designed, developed, or intended to be optimised for Snapdragon-powered HP PCs.

Proposal Requirements

  • The proposal may be newly created.
  • If the proposal existed before the Challenge Submission Period, it must have been significantly modified to add AI models from Qualcomm AI Hub or other open-source platforms.
  • The proposal must be the work and/or idea solely owned by the participant.
  • Only one submission per participant is permitted. If duplicate or multiple submissions are received, only the first will be considered eligible.
  • A submission cannot be changed after it has been properly submitted on the Challenge Site. Participants should double-check all intake-form fields before submitting.

Tie-breaking: Ties will first be resolved by comparing scores in the first applicable criterion listed above, then the next applicable criterion as needed. If a tie remains across all criteria, the judges will vote.

Prizes & Rewards

1st Award
One Snapdragon X2 Plus-powered HP Omnibook Ultra; opportunity for a Qualcomm internship, subject to eligibility requirements; and opportunity to showcase the innovation at a Qualcomm event.

2nd Award
One Snapdragon X-powered HP Omnibook 3; and opportunity to showcase the innovation at a Qualcomm event.

3rd & 4th Awards
One year of executive mentorship from Qualcomm leaders, including quarterly virtual engagement sessions focused on technology, innovation, leadership, and professional development.

All Participants
Certificate of Participation.

*Award limitation: A participant may not receive more than one award. Awards are subject to the full conditions in the Official Rules.

Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property Rights in submissions and final submissions remain solely with participants, except for Intellectual Property Rights originally owned by the Sponsor, its affiliates, or third parties other than the participant.

Key Terms & Conditions

  • Participation is subject to acceptance of the Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding.
  • All submissions must comply with applicable laws, third-party intellectual property requirements, and the content standards stated in the Official Rules.
  • Entrant Materials must not contain confidential information or trade secrets. Submissions and Entrant Materials will not be treated as confidential and may be made available to the public.
  • The Sponsor reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Challenge by prior written notice.
  • The Sponsor may disqualify participants who breach the Official Rules or violate the spirit or legitimate operation of the Challenge.
  • All Entrant Materials must be submitted in English or accompanied by the English translations specified in the Official Rules.
