The first round (online mode) tests the participant’s ability to remember the concepts which they might have learnt in the due course of their study. 30 questions will be given upon which each team has to find the answer for the question asked by making use of the picture clue. The participants will be given 15 minutes to answer all the questions. The participants will be tested for their accuracy in solving the questions. The difficulty level of this round will be on a moderate basis. You will see the “Play” button here, once the round is live.

Offline Round
A case study presentation competition. We will be providing top 20 trending technologies on chit-basis to each each participating group, they have to come with: 1. How can the technology be scoped on a national level and where all it can be used to come up as a disruptive technology? 2. What creative ways it is expected to evolve. The answers should be creative as well as practically implicable.Pitch the Tech”
An elevator pitch but technology based. Each group will be given a topic or a problem statement and asked to give solutions if they were a particular businessman. For example, “Think yourself as Elon Musk, how would you have handled the Nokia technology transformation failure, and what are the measures you will be taking to take the company into a success path.” 1. Additional points for adding real-time data, technology trends and practicality.

DIGIBYTES, the flagship event of Catalyst, is a national-level Data analytics event aimed at testing the grey cells of Data analytics enthusiasts, across all B schools in India. The entire theme of the event is based on applying known knowledge to perfection. These aspects highlight the importance of nurturing domain knowledge and relying on supportive peer guidance, to succeed. The modules have been carefully designed to delight the participants as well as the audience, simultaneously acting as a great learning ground for all management students. There would also be the privilege of hosting some esteemed dignitaries in the field of data analytics from leading corporates to judge the on-campus rounds of DIGIBYTES.
Guidelines:
- Every team should consist at least 2 members and a maximum of 3 members per team.
- All members of a team should be from the same institute/college.
- Students from b-schools and Engineering college can apply for this event
- There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute.
- The participants will be tested based on the accuracy of the answers which they give.
- Shortlisted teams for Round 2 will be emailed after the evaluation of Round 1.

About Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM), Trichy
In August 1984 Bharat Ratna Shri. C. Subramanian along with Prof. P.S. Mani Sundaram the Vice-Chancellor of Bharathidasan University chaired a meeting of leading academicians and Industrialists and an idea was born. Their dream was to create an Academy that would be
