Eco-Innovators Challenge: Stages and Timelines
Essay Full Paper Submission
This is the first stage, where the participant will present the full paper
structure of the essay from the given subthemes.
- In this stage, the participant will creatively crafting a persuasive essay
written in full structure - The paper will be evaluated based on identifying the
problems, originality, feasibility, and written communication skills. - The selected teams will proceed to the next round, final presentation
stage.

- Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage
- Green Energy
- Industrial Water Treatment
Final Stage: Online Presentation
- The selected teams (The five best teams) will do an online presentation in 10 minutes and 15 minutes QnA
- The presentation based on essay full paper since from introduction to conclusion
- The teams have to deliver a presentation via online zoom • Teams will be judged on the clarity, creativity to solve a solution, and persuasiveness of presentations, as well as their overall understanding of the problems.

Writing Format:
- Font size: 12 pt (Body); 14 pt (Heading)
- Margin: top 3, left 3, bottom 3, right 3
- The maximum is 10 pages (excluding cover, bibliography, any attachment)
Content:
- Cover (Title, writer, selected subtheme)
- Introduction (Background, objection)
- Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Bibliography
- Appendix (not mandatory)
Submission:
- The full paper must be submitted in portable document format (.pdf) with the format file name: Team Name_Essay Full Paper_University.pdf
- The additional appendix: Excel sheets, simulations, calculations should also be submitted (in .zip)
- Submission must be done on 17 June 2025 through the given link
- Any information will be delivered through the social media group and through the leader team email after the registration process
- There are point deductions based on:
- If there is an error in the format, the score of the paper will be reduced by 5%
- If the paper is submitted late, the grade will be reduced by 5% every 10 minutes after the deadline
Essay Full Paper Rules:
- The offered solution has to be related to the theme and provided by SISTER CHAPTER COMPETITION 2025
- Each team can only submit one essay paper and is prohibited from submitting more than that
- The paper should be original and never have been published or submitted before
- It's prohibited to place any university attribute (including campus email, logo, student ID, even university name)
- Each team must obey the regulations during the registration process and submit all the required documents
Online Final Presentation Rules:
- The five best papers will be asked to present their essay in the online final presentation stage
- The presentation time is: 10 minutes presentation and 15 minutes QnA
- The presentation must not contain any issues of ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations
- Each team must submit presentation files (PPTX/PDF), by maximum of 11.59 GMT+7 (West Indonesian Time)
- The medium of essay and presentation would be strictly English
Timeline:
- Registration begins: 22 May - 10 June 2025
- Full Paper Submission: 17 June 2025
- Selected Papers Announcement: 25 June 2025
- Online Final Presentation and Awarding: 1 July 2025
Competition Rules:
- The participant is allowed from any university and any major (prove with student card or student identity)
- Every participant in the team should be from the same university, which contains a maximum of 3 people, and one of them is a leader
- The participants are allowed to enrol only in one team. It is prohibited for every person to join two teams or more
- Any information will be given on the WhatsApp group chat
- Every leader of any team must agree to the SISTER CHAPTER COMPETITION 2025 rules by joining this competition. The participant will be given a reduction in points or even disqualified automatically if they break any rules

- The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai was established as the Department of Chemical Technology on 1st October 1933 by Mumbai University.
- The Institute was earlier known as UDCT, Mumbai.
- ICT was given the deemed university status on 12th September 2008.
- The Institute has some very strong linkages with industry and has produced some of the topmost academics and industrialists like Mukesh Ambani- Chairman, and Managing Director, Reliance Industries, Ashwin Dani- Vice-Chairman, Asian Paints Limited, Padmashri Dr. K.
