Finvisor (Case study Challenge): Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Finminiz
The round 1 evaluation will be solely on the basis of an online quiz that will test your financial mettle.
Round 2: The Intelligent Investor
Teams that advance to round 2 will be required to submit a presentation (in the prescribed format) as their solution to a M&A case. The case will require teams to apply technical reasoning and critical thinking in various aspects of a M&A deal. The top 8 teams will proceed to Round 3.
Round 3: Are you the next IBer?
Round 3 will be the grand finale of Finvisor (On Campus) where the teams will be required to present their solution to a panel of esteemed judges.

General Idea:

Ojas XII presents Finvisor, an event that gives you an opportunity to step into the shoes of an investment banker. We present to you an opportunity to prove your mettle in the M&A sphere against the best B-School minds of India. Can you identify the next business opportunity for some of the biggest names in the industry?
Rules and Regulations:
- Participant in a team should be from the same institute and no participant can be a part of more than one team.
- The event is open to students from all B-Schools
- The team can be from 1st and 2nd year
- Teams should comprise of minimum 2 and maximum 4 members.
- Only one entry is allowed per team for the competition.
- No change in the team structure is allowed after the team is registered.
- The teams will be shortlisted after round 1 and informed individually.
- Details of Round 2 will be uploaded after announcement of results of Round 1.
- The teams getting shortlisted for Grand finale will be informed individually.
- Participants are requested to like the Facebook Page and join the event for regular updates.

- Inaugurated in 1981 by the then British Prime Minister, the Late Hon. Margaret Thatcher, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) is a leading school of management in the heart of India’s financial centre, Mumbai.
- SPJIMR is a part of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and functions as an autonomous institute with entrepreneurial agility.
- The SPJIMR Campus is spread over an expanse of 45 acres in the heart of Mumbai city, the commercial capital of India and a global financial hub.
- It has a campus lake and over 250 plant species. The campus also has 72 species of birds, making it a naturalist's delight. The greenery and shrubs also conceal 4 species of snakes.
