Awareness and Entry Gate
This round serves as the mandatory screening stage, focused on fraud awareness and authentic engagement.
Step 1: Entry
Participants must follow @VigilAunty on Instagram. Only followers are eligible to participate.
Step 2: Awareness Action
Watch Vigil Aunty’s content and identify:
- A commonly discussed fraud among students
- One real anecdote (personal or known case)
Step 3: Engagement Proof
Reshare one Vigil Aunty video on your Instagram Story.
Tag @VigilAunty and @OjasSPJain, and mention:
- Type of fraud identified
- Why it is common among students
- A short anecdote
Step 4: Final Submission
Submit the registration form with:
- Instagram handle
- Story proof
- A 50–75 word response on a student-related fraud
Fraud Identification Quiz (Online | Elimination)
Shortlisted participants move to a timed, scenario-based quiz round designed to test real-time judgment.

- Practical response to real-world situations
Final Case Study Round
The final round challenges participants with a real-life inspired fraud case, curated to reflect situations commonly faced by students and young professionals.
Participants are required to:
- Analyze the fraud scenario
- Identify failure points
- Propose a clear prevention and awareness strategy
Submissions will be evaluated on:
- Depth of analysis
- Practical feasibility
- Preventive thinking
- Clarity of communication

Fraudathon is a first of its kind awareness driven case competition that blends digital vigilance, real-world fraud awareness, and analytical problem-solving. Designed in collaboration with Vigil Aunty, the competition challenges students to move beyond theory by identifying, understanding, and responding to frauds that impact student communities every day.
The competition unfolds across three elimination rounds, starting with a social awareness and engagement-based screening, followed by a scenario-driven quiz, and culminating in a real-life inspired fraud case study. Participants will be evaluated on awareness, judgment, analytical depth, and practical prevention strategies.
Fraudathon aims to create not just winners but more informed, vigilant individuals in an increasingly fraud-prone digital ecosystem.

- Open to students across disciplines
- Individual participation
- A participant may submit only one entry
- All submissions must be original
Rules & Guidelines:
- Decisions of the organizers and judges will be final and binding
- Any form of plagiarism or misrepresentation will lead to immediate disqualification
- Official communication will be via Unstop and email
- Organizers reserve the right to modify the competition structure if required
