InsightX - The Analytics Case Competition: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Quiz
This eliminatory round aims to evaluate participants’ proficiency in data science, statistics, quantitative aptitude, and overall business domain knowledge beyond analytics.
Round II: Case Submission
The candidates shortlisted from Round 1, will recieve a case file along with the attached dataset. The deliverables & rubrics will also be shared in the same file.
Round III: Grand Finale
Teams shortlisted from Round II will advance to the Grand Finale, where they will present their solutions to a panel of judges from L&T Finance and Tiger Analytics. This will be held online, teams don't need to travel.

- InsightX is the flagship case competition of the Analytics Club, SPJIMR, and attracts analytically driven students from leading B-schools across India. The competition closely mirrors real-world analytics and consulting engagements, making it a strong test of practical problem-solving and communication skills.

General Rules:
- Participants must register in teams of 1 to 3 members.
- Shortlisted teams after Round 1 will be required to submit the presentation in PDF format for the subsequent round.
- Further rounds may require additional submissions or presentations, as communicated by the organizing team.
- Submission File Naming Convention: InstituteName_TeamName
- Any deviation from the stated rules will lead to immediate disqualification.
- The decisions of the judges will be final and binding on the participants.
- The Terms and Conditions of participation are subject to change at any time without specific notice.
- The amended Terms and Conditions of entry will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website.
- It is the sole responsibility of the teams to regularly visit the website to take note of any changes.

- Inaugurated in 1981 by the then British Prime Minister, the Late Hon. Margaret Thatcher, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) is a leading school of management in the heart of India’s financial centre, Mumbai.
