Cognitive Assessment

Participants will complete an online assessment designed to evaluate aptitude, analytical ability, and HR fundamentals. Top performers will advance to the next round.

Case Study Submission

Shortlisted participants will be required to solve a real-world HR problem and submit a structured case study outlining their approach and recommendations.

Final Interview & Grand Finale

Finalists will present their thought process and solutions to an expert panel, followed by the announcement of winners.

About the Competition:

The NHRDN – Prof. Ram Charan Young HR Icons Awards 2026 is a national platform that recognises and nurtures emerging HR talent across students and early-career professionals. It brings together a structured evaluation process—including assessments, case studies, and interviews—to identify future HR leaders.

Focused on real-world competencies like business acumen, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management, the competition offers participants national recognition, industry exposure, and valuable learning opportunities.

  • Postgraduate HR students
  • Final-year students graduating in 2026
  • Up to 26 years of age (As of 31.03.2026)
  • Pursuing a 2-year full-time program such as MBA in HR, MSW, MA in PM/IR, or equivalent.

Competition Structure

  • Round 1: Cognitive Assessment (Screening Test): Participants will complete an online assessment designed to evaluate aptitude, analytical ability, and HR fundamentals. Top performers will advance to the next round.
  • Round 2: Case Study Submission: Shortlisted participants will be required to solve a real-world HR problem and submit a structured case study outlining their approach and recommendations.
  • Round 3: Final Interview & Grand Finale: Finalists will present their thought process and solutions to an expert panel, followed by the announcement of winners.

Prizes & Rewards

  • Winner: INR 80,000
  • 1st Runner-Up: INR 60,000
  • 2nd Runner-Up: INR 30,000
  • 3rd & 4th Runner-Up: Consolation Prizes

Along with cash rewards, winners receive trophies and certificates, and gain national recognition, industry exposure, and the opportunity to be felicitated at the NHRDN National Conference.

Delegate Fee: INR 3,000 + 18% GST
