Stock 'N' Roll (Stock Pitch Challenge): Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Know your Markets
The first round will be an online quiz to test the teams on their knowledge in the stock market.
Round 2 : Wolves of Dalal Street
The qualified teams will be tested on their investing aptitude- both short term and long term through 2 activities. Short term investing: The teams battle it out on a live virtual stock simulation. Long term Investing: The teams will need to submit a 7 slide PPT (excluding cover/thank you/reference slide) on a company (minimum market capitalization 1000 Crores) that they suggest to invest in, with a long term perspective (more than 1 year) and provide reasons to substantiate their claim. This needs to be submitted by 11 December EOD. Both simulation and stock pitch will have equal weightage in evaluation.
Round 3 : Sell it to win it
The top 8 teams will be invited on campus where they will have to pitch the stock that they chose to invest in. The details of the stock pitch will be disclosed 10 days prior to the final round. The team will be required to present the rationale behind their investment to a panel of judges.

Rules and Regulations
- Teams can comprise 2-3 members.
- The event is open to students from all B-Schools.
- Participant in a team should be from the same institute and no participant can be a part of more than one team.
- The team can be from 1st and 2nd year.
- Only one entry would be allowed per team for the competition.
- No change in the team structure is allowed after the team is registered
- The teams will be shortlisted after round 1 and informed individually.
- Details of Round 2 will be uploaded after announcement of results of Round 1.
- The teams getting shortlisted for Grand finale will be informed individually.
- Participants are requested to like the Facebook Page and join the event for regular updates.
