Adobe India Hackathon: Stages and Timelines

Online MCQ Assessment + Coding (Demo)

This round is a demo assessment meant to help all participating teams get comfortable with the platform before the actual competition begins.

You can get a feel for how the platform works, how to navigate it, submit answers, and understand the overall flow. It’s a great way to avoid any last-minute confusion during the main round.

Note: This is a non-eliminatory round.

Round 1 - Online MCQ Assessment + Coding

In this round, it is mandatory for all team members of each participating team to attempt a 1-hour assessment comprising 15 multiple-choice questions and 1 coding question focused on Algorithms and Data Structures (DSA).

The team’s final score will be calculated based on the average score of all its members.

Live Launch Session

In this interactive session, shortlisted teams will be introduced to the problem statement by industry leaders. The session will include a detailed briefing on the case, expectations from submissions, and key guidelines. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights to help shape their approach to the challenge.

Round 2 - Build and Connect Round

All shortlisted teams will gain access to the detailed problem statement once the round goes live on 14th July 2025. The document will clearly outline the challenge, steps to follow, and the evaluation process.

As part of this round, teams are expected to build the core system that powers intelligent document understanding and semantic linking, aligned with the problem brief.

Once completed, team leaders will be required to submit their solution as per the instructions provided in the problem statement. This may include a private GitHub repository link and any other assets or documentation needed for evaluation.

Further submission instructions and access credentials will be shared closer to the round launch.

Round 3 - Experience and Insight Prototype

In this round, shortlisted teams will build a functional prototype of their document intelligence engine. Building on the previous round, teams must develop a web-based interface that allows users to explore documents, discover related content, and generate contextual insights. The prototype should highlight core user experience elements such as contextual recommendations, interaction flows, and insight-generation features.

Team leaders must submit their solution as per the guidelines, which may include a private GitHub repo and other evaluation materials. Full details will be shared in the official problem statement.

Round 4 - Grand Finale

The top-qualifying teams will get the exclusive opportunity to present their solutions to Adobe’s leadership at the company’s headquarters in Noida. Adobe will take care of all travel and accommodation arrangements for the finalists, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience as they showcase their ideas on a national stage.
