Computer Networks Lab Practical Test

Participants must write the description, code, and execute Computer Networks lab programs with expected output. Marks will be awarded based on logic, execution accuracy, output correctness.

All that you need to know about Computer Networks Lab Challenge

Computer Networks Lab Challenge is designed to test students’ practical knowledge of computer network concepts through C programming. Participants are required to write and implement a Computer Networks program using C, demonstrating understanding, implementation, and execution of the given problem.

Eligibility:

  • Individual participation only.
  • Students must be enrolled in the Computer Networks course with minimum required attendance.

Format:

  • The competition consists of one round.
  • Participants must write a Computer Networks program in C and include:
    • Concept / Problem Understanding – Brief explanation of the networking concept or problem.
    • Program – Implementation of the solution in C.
    • Execution & Result – Run the program and display the output.
  • The output should be presented in a report format and submitted as a PDF on the Unstop platform.

Process & Rules:

  • Individual participation only.
  • No use of external help, mobile phones, or the internet is allowed.
  • Submit both the program code and output for evaluation.
  • Evaluation will be based on logic, correctness, and output clarity.

Duration:

  • Total duration: 90 minutes (may extend up to 2–3 hours depending on problem complexity).

Number of Problem Statements:

  • Each student will be given one Computer Networks problem statement.
  • The student must:
    • Write the concept/description of the problem.
    • Implement the program code in C.
    • Provide the expected output after execution.
