Eligibility:
- Open to undergraduate students from recognized institutions
- Team Size: 2-4members per team
- Both participants must be registered before the event
Event Task / Objective
- To evaluate logical thinking and debugging skills through a structured multi-round format
- To assess participants’ ability to interpret, analyze, and reconstruct code without complete information
- To test teamwork and communication under constrained conditions (blindfold coding scenario)
- To measure the ability to identify errors, understand underlying logic, and derive the intended problem statement
Design | Technical Specifications
- Environment: Participants must bring their own laptops. Necessary instructions and setup details will be communicated prior to the event.
- Programming Languages: Participants may use any programming language of their choice
- Internet Access: Restricted to permitted resources as defined by the organizers during the event
- Evaluation: Assessment will be conducted based on predefined criteria; a live leaderboard may be used for specific rounds
General Guidelines
- Participation: Teams of 2-4 only. Both members must be registered before event start.
- Resources: Only permitted IDEs, compilers, and browsers may be used.
- Execution: Participants must strictly follow instructions of each round.
- Submission: Code and algorithm explanations must be submitted within allotted time.
- Timeline: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Late submissions attract penalties.
Safety Rules
- Any form of misconduct, malpractice, or unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification
- Code sharing or collaboration between different teams is strictly prohibited
- Participants must use only their own systems and adhere to the guidelines provided by the organizers
- Use of unauthorized resources or tools (if restricted) will result in penalties or disqualification
- Participants are expected to maintain respectful behavior towards judges, volunteers, and fellow participants at all times

Round 1: Raised Ticket – Blindfold Round |
Teams will be divided into Team A and Team B. Team A will be provided with the problem statement and must write the program without viewing the screen. After Team A completes the task, Team B will be given the written code without access to the problem statement and must analyze, identify logical errors, and correct the program. |

Round 2: Debugging & Analysis Round |
Teams will be provided with faulty code by the organizers. Participants must identify logical errors, fix the code, understand the intended functionality, and clearly explain the underlying problem statement. |
