The Role:
- We're looking for a Content Writer Intern with a strong grasp of performance marketing to support our Meta ads team.
- You'll work at the intersection of storytelling and conversion - writing ad concepts, hooks, scripts, and copy that's built to perform, not just sound good.
- This is not a social media posting role.
- You'll be writing ad concepts that go directly into paid campaigns.
What You'll Do:
- Conceptualise and write Meta ad creatives: static, carousel, and video scripts (UGC-style and brand-led)
- Craft high-performing hooks, headlines, and primary text variations for A/B testing
- Develop concept briefs for the design and video team based on performance insights
- Write copy aligned to funnel stage : awareness, consideration, and conversion
- Research competitor ads and category trends to bring fresh angles to campaigns
- Collaborate closely with the performance marketing and brand team on weekly creative iterations
- Maintain a swipe file and contribute to the brand's creative playbook
What We're Looking For:
- Strong written English with a natural ability to write conversationally and persuasively
- Understanding of Meta ad formats: what makes a good hook, why creative fatigue happens, and how to write for different objectives
- Awareness of D2C brand communication and consumer psychology (even if self-taught)
- Familiarity with the kids/parenting/wellness category is a strong plus
- Ability to take creative direction and iterate fast based on performance feedback
- Portfolio or samples of ad copy, scripts, or any persuasive writing work (academic or freelance)
Bonus Points If You:
- Have run your own Meta/Instagram ads or studied ad libraries closely
- Can write in a warm, care-first tone, not clinical or salesy
- Have an interest in health, nutrition, or parenting content
- Are comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up ideation without losing voice
