Junior Designer Internship

About The Opportunity:

• We are building a contemporary jewellery brand focused on sculptural, modern heirloom pieces.
• We are looking for a design-focused CAD intern / junior designer who can help translate concepts into production-ready designs.

Role Overview:

• This role involves working closely on the design development of our initial collection — from concept to CAD to manufacturing readiness.
• You will not just execute CADs, but also contribute to refining designs and making them production-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate design references into hand sketches and CAD designs
• Work on Rhino / Matrix / relevant CAD software
• Develop clean, proportionate, and aesthetically strong designs
• Ensure designs are feasible for production (casting, stone setting, wearability)
• Suggest improvements based on practical constraints and cost considerations
• Iterate designs based on feedback

Requirements:

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Rhino / jewellery CAD software
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
• Ability to conceptualise and sketch ideas before CAD
• Understanding (or willingness to learn) production constraints
• Interest in contemporary / non-traditional jewellery design

Engagement Details:

• Short-term engagement (1–2 months), extendable based on performance
