Operations Internship

This is a field-oriented internship role at Tikaana where interns will travel across the city to identify and evaluate worker accommodation properties. The role involves interacting with hostel owners, PG operators, brokers, and property managers to help expand Tikaana’s accommodation network.

The opportunity is suitable for candidates interested in operations, real estate, hospitality, startups, and ground-level business execution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Visit different locations to identify potential worker accommodation properties
• Meet hostel owners, PG operators, and property managers
• Explain Tikaana’s partnership model to property owners
• Collect property details, pricing, photos, and room availability information
• Conduct basic property quality and suitability checks
• Maintain records using mobile forms or spreadsheets
• Coordinate with the operations team for property evaluation
• Support onboarding and documentation processes
• Build relationships with brokers and local property contacts

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills in Telugu, Hindi, or English
• Comfortable with field work and daily local travel
• Confidence in interacting with property owners and operators
• Basic smartphone and Google Sheets/Excel knowledge
• Self-driven and proactive mindset
• Ability to work independently
• Interest in operations, hospitality, real estate, or startups

Preferred Candidates:

• College students or recent graduates
• Candidates with strong local area knowledge
• Candidates comfortable with daily city travel
• Prior field sales or survey experience is an advantage
