About the Organization: 

Illumina Ztudio is partnering up with a firm that specializes in Home Detailing, Commercial Spaces Detailing, AC Duct & Kitchen Hood Cleaning & Maintenance. We aim to develop and deploy robots (with inspection & cleaning capabilities) in some of these above-mentioned services. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for robotic systems.
• Design and implement test plans and test cases for robotic software and hardware integration.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with software developers and robotic engineers to resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
• Maintain and update test automation frameworks and tools.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test execution and defect status.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics and test automation technologies.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
• Basic knowledge of robotics concepts and systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, crucial for designing effective test strategies.
• A working knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, C++, or Java, is essential for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with basic robotics concepts and systems will be highly beneficial for understanding and testing the intricacies of robotic applications.
