Leadwoo is a fast-growing outbound growth platform helping businesses automate lead generation, data enrichment, and multi-channel outreach (LinkedIn, Email, WhatsApp). We are building a scalable system for modern sales teams to run high-performance outbound campaigns with minimal manual effort.

We’re now looking for a hands-on Lead Backend Engineer who can own and scale our backend systems.

Role Overview

As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling the core backend infrastructure powering Leadwoo. This is not just a coding role — you’ll drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure our systems can handle high-scale data processing and automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable backend services using Node.js
• Design high-performance APIs for lead generation, enrichment, and outreach systems
• Handle large-scale data pipelines (scraping, enrichment, deduplication, processing)
• Build and manage integrations with:
  • LinkedIn automation systems
  • Email infrastructure (SMTP, deliverability systems)
  • Third-party APIs (CRMs, data providers)
• Optimize system performance for high concurrency and throughput
• Own database design (MongoDB / PostgreSQL) and query optimization
• Ensure system reliability, monitoring, and fault tolerance
• Lead backend roadmap and mentor junior developers
• Work closely with product and growth teams to ship fast

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Node.js (Express / NestJS preferred)
• Deep understanding of scalable system design
• Experience with queues & workers (Redis, BullMQ, Kafka, etc.)
• Hands-on with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Experience building API-first platforms
• Understanding of web scraping / automation challenges (anti-bot, proxies, etc.)
• Familiarity with email systems (SMTP, deliverability, warmup, spam handling)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

Good to Have

• Experience with LinkedIn automation / browser automation (Puppeteer, Playwright)
• Knowledge of data enrichment pipelines
• Exposure to ABM / outbound tools (Lemlist, Apollo, etc.)
• Experience handling multi-tenant SaaS architecture
