UI/UX Design Internship
The Neith
Details
What You Will Do:
- Design key screens for The Neith's mobile app and website — home feed, designer profiles, AI design tool, chat, order tracking, designer dashboard, and more
- Build a complete design system with typography, color palette, components, and reusable UI patterns
- Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes in Figma
- Refine and iterate based on founder feedback and user testing
- Design assets for marketing materials, Instagram posts, pitch decks, and the website
- Work closely with developers (or AI tools like Google Stitch) to translate designs into a working product
- Contribute design ideas for new features as the platform evolves
What You Will Learn:
- How to design a real consumer product from zero to launch
- How premium luxury brands build their visual identity
- How to balance editorial aesthetics with functional UX
- How to ship designs that get used by real customers
- Direct mentorship from the founder on design thinking, brand building, and product strategy
- Real-world experience that goes far beyond academic projects
What We Are Looking For
Required:
- Strong portfolio showing UI/UX work — even academic projects are fine if they demonstrate taste
- Proficiency in Figma (mandatory)
- A genuine appreciation for editorial design, fashion magazines, luxury brands, and minimalist aesthetics
- Eye for typography, spacing, color, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
- Self-driven — you will be expected to take ownership, not wait for instructions
Preferred:
- Experience designing mobile apps (not just websites)
- Familiarity with iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design 3
- Comfortable using AI design tools (Google Stitch, v0, Galileo, Magician)
- Interest in fashion, social commerce, marketplaces, or creator economy
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries
- Basic understanding of user research and testing
Nice to Have:
- Side projects or personal design work shared on Behance, Dribbble, or Instagram
- Experience with motion design (Lottie, After Effects, or Figma animations)
- Illustration or photography skills
- Familiarity with Webflow, Framer, or no-code design tools
