Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) on web applications and network infrastructures.
• Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities, including but not limited to OWASP Top Ten and SQL injection flaws.
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite for in-depth security testing.
• Perform ethical hacking activities to simulate real-world attack scenarios and uncover potential weaknesses.
• Analyze network security protocols and identify potential misconfigurations or vulnerabilities.
• Work with Linux environments to perform security analysis and testing.
• Contribute to cybersecurity analytics by identifying patterns and trends in security data.
• Document findings, provide detailed reports on vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with senior security analysts to develop and refine security testing methodologies.
• Participate in team discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance collective cybersecurity expertise.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Strong foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Familiarity with operating systems, particularly Linux.
• Basic understanding of network security protocols.
• Eagerness to learn and apply cybersecurity concepts in a practical setting.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess a strong aptitude for Ethical Hacking and a keen interest in Cybersecurity Analytics.
• Proficiency in Vulnerability Assessment techniques and tools, including practical experience with Burp Suite, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Web Application Security Testing, including identifying SQL vulnerabilities and understanding the OWASP Top Ten, is a significant advantage.
• A solid understanding of Linux operating systems and Network Security Protocols will be instrumental in success.
