Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive plastic trim components utilizing CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX.
- Create and modify Class-A, Class-B & Class-C surfaces.
- Develop 3D models and engineering features for plastic components.
- Ensure tooling feasibility, conduct draft analysis, and ensure manufacturability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams from product development through to production release.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Automotive Plastic Trim Design is required.
- Strong knowledge of CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX.
- Expertise in Class-A, Class-B & Class-C Surface Development.
- Good understanding of automotive plastic component design.
- Hands-on experience in Surface Modelling and Part Design.
- Knowledge of Injection Moulding processes and Tooling Concepts.
- Experience in Draft Analysis, Tooling Feasibility, and Manufacturing Considerations.
- Experience in the complete product development lifecycle will be considered an added advantage.
- Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
