Khel Neeti (Simulation Challenge): Stages and Timelines
Round 1: What's Your Sports Quotient?
First round will be an online quiz comprising of a set of questions on any sport. This will be an elimination round. The quiz contains 30 questions with a time limit of 20 minutes.
Round 2: Online Simulation
This round would consist of an Online Strategy Game (on the lines of Fantasy League) spread over a number of matches, the details of which will be shared with the shortlisted participants). 8 teams will be shortlisted for the final round to be held on SPJIMR campus in Mumbai.
Last Milestone
The final round is a surprise challenge whose details will be shared with the finalists. The participants will have to make strategic decisions using their wit and intuition and accumulate points over multiple rounds. The team that ends the challenge with the maximum points will be declared the KHEL NEETIGYA!

General Idea:
2 overs: 15 runs to defend, 1 wicket to take.
Do you send your best bowler now? Or do you keep him for the last over?
Barca vs Real. 60 mins into the game. Your best player is injured but you desperately need to win this match.
Do you substitute him? Or do you take the risk?
How many times have you found yourself glued to the television screen, waiting to see how your favourite team reacts to a difficult situation like this?
How many times have you actually found yourself thinking of how you would have played a different strategy, which would have surely secured a win for your team?
If any of the questions seem relatable to you, look no further, because Khel Neeti gives you the perfect opportunity to relive each of those nail-biting finishes and decision points, only this time as a manager and not just another spectator. Use your financial and intellectual resources as you set on a journey to build a victorious strategy and guide your team to glory!
Rules & Regulations:
- Teams should comprise of 2-3 members
- The event is open to students from all B-Schools.
- Participants in a team should be from the same institute and no participant can be a part of more than one team.
- The team can be from 1st and 2nd year.
- Only one entry would be allowed per team for the competition.
- No change in the team structure is allowed after the team is registered.
- The teams will be shortlisted after round 1 and informed individually.
- The teams getting shortlisted for Grand finale will be informed individually.
