Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2024: Stages and Timelines
Online Prelims
The entry-level round, accessible to all registered participants, will take place online in a multiple-choice format. Prelims will be conducted on the TCS iON platform. The top 12 participants from each Cluster will progress to the subsequent Cluster Round. In instances of tied scores, participants who complete the online prelims in less time will be shortlisted.
Cluster Semi-Finals & Finals (On-Ground Events)
Following the online prelims, the competition moves to an on-stage format for the Cluster Semi-Finals and Finals, both of which will be conducted on the same day as ground events.
The country is divided into 12 clusters, with the Cluster Rounds being held as live, on-stage events, and on-ground events. Clusters are based on the location of work. Participants must specify their correct work location during the online registration process, as this will determine their cluster allocation. Failure to provide correct information during any stage of the process including Registration may lead to disqualification.
Cluster Semi-Finals will be conducted in 2 groups of 6 participants each. The top 3 scorers from each group advance to the Cluster Final, resulting in 6 participants for each Cluster Final. The Winner of the Cluster Final advances to the National Semi-Finals.
National Semi-Finals & Finals
The National Semi-Finals & Finals shall be conducted on the same day as an on-stage event, on-ground event.
The winners of the 12 Cluster Finals shall be organized into 2 groups of 6 participants each for the National Semi-Finals. The top 3 scorers from each group shall advance to the National Finals. From these final 6 participants, the top scorer in the National Finals will be crowned as the National Champion of the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2023-24.

Founded by the Tata Group two decades ago, Tata Crucible is India’s most prestigious business quiz, renowned for uniting the brightest young minds in the country. This marks the 20th edition of the Tata Crucible Quiz for corporate professionals. In this edition, all Final Rounds (Cluster & National) will be conducted as on-stage, on-ground events, reinstating the thrill every quiz enthusiast craves for. With larger, more enticing, and purposeful prizes, Tata Crucible extends a warm invitation to all individuals seeking an exhilarating journey to push the boundaries of their knowledge.
Eligibility:
- The quiz is open to all full-time bona fide working professionals nationwide, spanning various corporate entities, organizations, public or private sector enterprises, government departments or institutions, start-ups, and other professions.
- Participation in this competition is absolutely free of cost, and we encourage individual involvement rather than team participation to facilitate easy engagement in a virtual format.
- There is no limit to the number of individuals from an organization who can participate in the quiz.
Rewards:
- The champion of the National Finale will be awarded cash prize of Rs. 2.5 lakhs*, in addition to the coveted Tata Crucible Trophy.
- The national winner and runner-up will receive a Taj Holiday voucher worth Rs. 1 lakh*.
- At the cluster finals, winners will be awarded prizes of Rs. 35,000*, while runners-up will receive Rs. 18,000* each.
- The top 6 finalists who qualify for and compete in each of the 12 Cluster Final rounds will receive a certification* on Coursera (1 per person).
- Cluster Round participants will get invited to an exclusive case-study session with Prof. V.G. Narayanan, Thomas D. Casserly, Jr. Professor of Business Administration and Senior Associate Dean of HBS Executive Education & HBS Online.
