All that you need to know about Building Sustainable Campus

Sustainability Conclave ’22, IIT Roorkee proudly presents the Building Sustainable Campus, where the institutes can show the steps taken by them to make their campus sustainable.

The United Nations created a set of interlinked goals called the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for substantive support and capacity building for the goals and their related thematic issues including water, energy, climate, oceans, urbanization, transport, science and technology. This set of 17 goals imagines a future just 15 years off that would be rid of poverty and hunger, and safe from the worst effects of climate change.

Building Sustainable Campus shows how the campus follows sustainability goals ranging from the dependency of campus maintenance bodies on solar energy for electricity to using big system machinery for satisfying soil needs using waste sustainability.
