ENS Sustainability Case Competition 2026: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Quiz Time!
Once the "Play" button is activated, dive into an array of intriguing multiple-choice questions on environmental challenges and general knowledge, both in India and globally. Challenge your understanding of our planet's flora and fauna, the efforts in conservation, and the pivotal role of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Explore topics such as carbon intensity, renewable energy, and many more as you navigate through questions that reveal the pressing environmental issues influencing the world today!

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice with only one correct response
Note that the quiz must be attempted on a laptop/desktop with full-screen mode enabled. The webcam needs to be active at all times as the quiz will be remotely proctored. Candidates will be disqualified if more than 5 protoring violations are tagged by the system
Round 2: Case Study!
All qualified candidates are to submit a presentation deck in the form of a pptx file by 3rd March, 8 AM on Unstop. Finalists from this round will be required to present their ideas to the judges during the event finale on 6th March.
Details
- A deck of 3-5 slides (excluding title page) is required.
- If any supporting materials- spreadsheets, videos, or documents- are to be submitted along with the primary submission, teams are suggested to upload a zip file containing the ppt file along with other material
Note- only the ppt is the mandatory submission. Anything apart from this will count as additional material and will not lead to additional points.
- All relevant sources and links are to be mentioned either at the end of the deck or at the bottom of the corresponding slide.
Final Round: Presentation!
The shortlisted teams from the case round will be asked to present their submission to the judges online on the 6th of March. Further details will be shared with the shortlisted teams.

Get ready to test your knowledge and launch your journey in our case competition! Starting with an engaging online quiz focused on environmental sustainability.
What to Expect in Round 1: Multiple-choice questions related to environmental challenges in India and globally. Knowledge of conservation efforts and recent news on environmental challenges due to policies and developing technologies. Understanding of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
What's Next? Top-performing teams will advance to Round 2: a real-world case study! Details will be shared with the qualifying teams. A problem statement will be shared with the teams, who would then be required to prepare a deck and submit.
The Road Ahead: Round 3 will see finalists presenting their innovative solutions to a panel of expert judges. Selected teams will be asked to present their round 2 submissions on the final day of the competition.

Important Information:
- Who: Open to all UG and PG students in India.
- How It Works: Three rounds: Online Quiz, Case Submission, Final presentation.
- Presentations: 3-5 slides (quality over quantity)
- Presentation time: 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes of questionnaire
- Team Up: Form teams of 2-3 students. Inter-college and inter-disciplinary teams are allowed!
- Quiz Details: 15 minutes – speed and accuracy count!
- Originality Matters: Submissions exceeding 15% plagiarism (Turnitin) will be disqualified.
