Submission Round (via Unstop)
All registered teams have to submit the pitch deck before the deadline in a pdf format. Preferably include the photos of the live project along with the team members in the pitch deck.
Project Showcase
The top 20 teams selected through the preliminary round. Shortlisted teams will be invited to IIT Guwahati to present a Proof of Concept (PoC) or working prototype to a panel of esteemed judges from STPI and the startup ecosystem.

Techniche, the annual techno-management festival of IIT Guwahati, in collaboration with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India), is proud to present a high-impact Entrepreneurship Hackathon aimed at fostering innovative and scalable ventures in India’s fast-growing tech space.
This is not just another ideation event—it's a launchpad for entrepreneurs and innovators! The Entrepreneurship Hackathon invites students and early-stage founders to pitch bold, original solutions in the following domains:
- Gaming & Entertainment
- AR/VR & Emerging Tech
- Graphic Design & Animation
- IoT in Agriculture
- GIS Applications
- Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence
- Healthcare & Agritech
This hybrid-format hackathon offers national visibility, expert mentorship, and real opportunities for incubation support.
Hackathon Structure:
Round 1: Online Idea Submission
Submit a concise PPT detailing your idea, business model, target market, and innovation angle. Submissions will be evaluated by experts from STPI and Techniche.
Final Round: Prototype Showcase at IIT Guwahati
Shortlisted teams will be invited to IIT Guwahati to present a Proof of Concept (PoC) or working prototype to a panel of esteemed judges from STPI and the startup ecosystem.
Eligibility:
- Open to students, early-stage entrepreneurs, and innovators across India.
- Ideas must be software-based or involve electronics-based solutions.

- Established in 1994, IIT Guwahati is the 6th member of the IIT fraternity.
- The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995.
- At present, the Institute has eleven departments and five inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science, and humanities disciplines, offering B.Tech, B.Des., MA, M.Des., M.Tech, MSc and Ph.D. programmes.
