Impetus, A Case Competition to Bridge Gender Gap: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Fastest Finger- Online Quiz
This round consists of a 15 minute quiz to check your knowledge and enthusiasm about achievements and general happenings across the world related to women. Teams will be shortlisted based on speed and accuracy.
Round 2: Final Round: Situation-Based Analysis (Virtual)
The shortlisted teams will be sent short cases based on scenarios faced by women in the workplace. Each team will get an hour to prepare for this round. The task is simple: Put yourself into the shoes of the role and share your interpretation of the case. The teams need to share their views on the case problem, present their thoughts/ knowledge on the given topic and suggest solutions to overcome such situations.

Note: A team can have team members from different colleges.
Round 1: Fastest Finger: Online Quiz
- This round consists of a 10-15 minute quiz to check your knowledge and enthusiasm about achievements and general happenings across the world related to women
- Number of Questions: 20
- No negative marking
- Teams will be shortlisted based on speed and accuracy.
- 8 shortlisted teams will go to the next round
- Quiz Durations: 15 minutes
Round 2: Final Round: Situation-Based Analysis
- The shortlisted teams will be sent short cases based on scenarios faced by women in the workplace
- Each team will get an hour to prepare for this round
- The task is simple: Put yourself into the shoes of the role and share your interpretation of the case
- The teams need to share their views on the case problem, present their thoughts/ knowledge on the given topic and suggest solutions to overcome such situations.
- Teams will be judged on uniqueness, creativity, and understanding of the case study.
- Each team will get a total of 10 minutes (6 minutes to speak + 4 minutes for Q&A by
- judges)
- More details about the round & evaluation criteria will be given in due course
- Winners will be awarded prizes and e-certificates by IIMB Vista
Note: Screen switching and screen sharing not allowed. Browsing through questions is not allowed.
Terms & Conditions:
- Participants must adhere to the rules and guidelines of each round
- Participation is open to a team size of 1-3 as specified
- The decisions of the Vista organizing committee shall be final and binding
- Participants must comply with the instructions provided by the event organizers throughout the competition
- Any misconduct or violation of rules may result in immediate disqualification
