Round 1: Quiz

Top 5 teams will pitch their idea to the judges. This round will be conducted in *hybrid mode on campus.
*Teams that are unable to make adequate travel arrangements for the finals are advised to communicate atleast 12 hours prior to the round start date

Vista, the annual business fest of IIM Bangalore, is a vibrant culmination of the experience of yesterday and the potential of tomorrow. For all literature enthusiasts out there, we present to you a game combining the power of 3: business acumen, writing, and presenting. Do you have what it takes?
Round 1: Quiz:
- A 15-minute MCQ quiz based on books & business literature! This will be an MCQ quiz with 20 questions.
- Teams will be scored based on the accuracy and speed of the quiz with no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The teams will be scored on the basis of the total points they earn for each correct answer and the time of submission in case there is a tie.
Round 2: Pitch Deck Submission:
- Shortlisted teams are expected to submit a 3-slider deck (excluding the intro and thank you pages).
- Submission Details
- The teams need to select a fictitious new book
- Assume yourself as the author of the book
- Convince the judges (acting as publisher) to approve your idea and publish the book
- Based on submissions, only the top 5 teams would be able to present before the judges (in Round 3).
- Submission file naming format (pptx): Team name_Institute name
Round 3: Finals (Hybrid):
- Based on submissions, the top 5 teams would present their pitch before the judges
- Teams will be given 5 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes will be allocated to Q&A
- Teams will be evaluated based on the uniqueness of their idea, presentation skills, coherence, overall aesthetics
- This will be a hybrid* round on campus
*Teams that are unable to make adequate travel arrangements for the finals are advised to communicate at least 12 hours prior to the start of the round.
Rules:
- Teams must comprise of a maximum of 3 members, all of whom must be enrolled in a graduate or a post-graduate program at the time of the submission.
- Cross-college teams are not allowed.
- An institute can have any number of teams participating. However, if a team member is found participating as a part of more than one team, all such teams shall be disqualified.
Terms and Conditions:
- All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity, and final judgments will be with the organizing committee of Vista, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
- The format and structure of events on campus could be subject to change before the actual beginning of the event.
- The decisions of the organizers will be final and binding on all participants.
