Round 1: Business Quiz (Pre-Vista Prelims)
This round is a multiple-choice quiz to check how quick you are on your feet. Strategy, Marketing, Operations, HR, Finance, Social Science, Quantitative Aptitude, no field will go untested! Speed and number of correct answers will be the criteria for elimination.
Round 2: Initial Case Solution
Shortlisted teams will be sent a case to which they will be required to send their solution in a PPT.
Note: Please find the question required on the last page of the case. Time to put those MECE skills to good use! Further details, criteria for evaluation, will be made known in due course. The top 10 teams will make it to round 3.
Round 3: Final Case Submission and Presentation (Virtual)
The final round will be a detailed case submission followed by an offline* case presentation, where the teams battle it out to showcase the brilliance of their solutions to an elite panel of judges. The presentation will be for 10 minutes followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.
*Teams that are unable to make adequate travel arrangements for the finals are advised to communicate atleast 2 days prior to the round start date.

This event gives you the chance to slip into the shoes of a head honcho and make decisions that could spell unmatched success, financial ruin, and everything-else-in-between, for your business. It’s a multi-stage event that will test your ability to generate valuable insights and stick to your guns in the face of intense competitive pressures. Rack your brains to come up with the right solution!
Trojan Horse brings together the smartest minds in the country. They then battle it out for the coveted title of being the Best Business Strategist by providing solutions to contemporary business cases.
Round 1 (Pre-Vista Prelims):
- This round is a multiple-choice quiz to check how quick you are on your feet. Strategy, Marketing, Operations, HR, Finance, Social Science, Quantitative Aptitude, no field will go untested! Speed and number of correct answers will be the criteria for elimination. The quiz will be available on Unstop on July 30, 2024
Round 2 (Initial Case Solutions):
- Shortlisted teams will be able to access the case on Unstop, to which they will be required to send their solution PPT. Time to put those MECE skills to good use! Further details, criteria for evaluation for the same will be made known in due course. Top 10 teams will make it to round 3.
Submission Details:
- The PPT can have up to 5 slides (+2 appendix) excluding cover slide and team slide. Please note it is not compulsory to make 5 slides. 5 slides are the maximum that any team is allowed to make. Brevity is appreciated.
Round 3 (Final Solution and Presentation):
- The final round will be the final case submission followed by an offline* case presentation, where the teams battle it out to showcase the brilliance of their solutions to an elite panel of judges. The presentation will be for 10 minutes followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.

- 8 slides excluding cover slide, appendix, and team slide. Please note it is not compulsory to make 8 slides. 8 slides are the maximum that any team is allowed to make. Brevity is appreciated.
- Teams may add an appendix of up to 3 slides.
Rules:
- The registrations will close by 8:00 PM, 30 July 2024
- The Round 2 case will be accessible only to the teams that qualify round 1
- Teams must comprise minimum of two and maximum of three members, all of whom must be enrolled in a graduate or a post-graduate program at the time of the submission
- Cross-college teams are not allowed
- An institute can have any number of teams participating. However, if a team member is found participating as a part of more than one team, all such teams shall be disqualified
- Only the first submissions made by teams before the deadlines will be used
The participants must carefully read through and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
- All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity, and final judgments will be with the organizing committee of Vista, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore
- The format and structure of events on campus could be subject to change before the actual beginning of the event
- The decisions of the organizers will be final and binding on all participants
