Young Leaders Case Competition: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Online Quiz
Candidates will have to crack 30 questions in 20 minutes. Topics would be around quantitative aptitude, current affairs, and business acumen. Only the team leader of the team can take the quiz individually or with the entire team. Final scores will be decided based on:
- The total score of the team
- The speed with which the questions were answered by the team
Top-scoring participants advance to the next stage.
Round 2: Case Submission
Round 1 Qualifiers will receive a detailed problem statement and must submit a 5-slide deck presenting their solution. They need to demonstrate clear problem analysis, creative solutions, and a roadmap for implementation. Strong feasibility, data, and impact are key. The Top 20 most compelling submissions will advance to the on-campus Semi-Finals.
(Results for this round will be declared by EOD 19th April)
On-Campus Semi-Final
Semi-finalists will pitch their ideas to a distinguished panel of judges at the Masters’ Union campus in Gurugram. Before the pitch, they will attend CXO sessions and masterclasses to gain valuable insights. Top 10 teams will move to the finale, next day. (Note: It is mandatory for all team members from the shortlisted teams to be present on-campus for presentation)
Final Showdown
The finalists will compete in the grand finale at the Masters’ Union campus. They will participate in last-minute mentor huddles, deliver their final pitch, and explain their ideas in a dynamic Q&A with expert judges. The winning team will get all-inclusive 10 day global immersion to Bocconi, Italy and cash prizes. The runners up will receive cash prizes, and exclusive access to the Masters’ Union curriculum, and special honors! Glimpses of the final showdown will be added to Masters Union social handles such as Instagram & Linkedin.

Eligibility: Masters’ Union Young Leaders Case Competition is open to all students pursuing a full-time Undergraduate degree across all years & across branches from a selected list of colleges PAN India.
Rules & Guidelines
- Team Size: 1-3 members.
- Multiple teams: An institute can have any number of teams participating.
- Cross-college teams: Allowed.
- More than one participation entry: If a team member is found participating as a part of more than one team, all such teams shall be disqualified.
- Team leader: Every team must have a team name and a team leader.
- Original Work: Submissions must be your own. Plagiarism leads to immediate disqualification.
- Submission Format: Follow the guidelines provided for each round (quiz, PPT slides, etc.).
- Timelines: Adhere strictly to the start and end dates for each round. Late entries will not be entertained.
- Decisions: The jury’s call on results will be final and binding.
- Discipline: Any type of unprofessional and inappropriate behavior on campus shall strictly not be accepted and will lead to immediate disqualification of the team.
- Format of offline rounds: The format and structure of rounds on campus could be subject to change before the actual beginning of the event.
Additional Details
- Travel & Accommodation: Teams shortlisted for on-campus rounds (Rounds 3 & 4) will be responsible for their own travel and lodging unless otherwise specified.
