“Turn Waste into Resistance. Turn Discard into Art.”
Beauty in the Broken is a junk art competition that challenges participants to transform discarded materials into meaningful works of art. Inspired by the fest theme Battle of Streets, this event reflects how streets give new life to what society throws away. Broken objects, scrap materials, and waste become symbols of resilience, creativity, and reinvention.
Participants are invited to reimagine waste as art by creating installations or craft pieces that communicate a message, tell a story, or provoke thought. The focus is on sustainability, innovation, and artistic expression using everyday discarded materials.
Beauty in the Broken celebrates creativity rooted in constraint, where limitation becomes the fuel for originality.
