This is your moment to express, perform, and captivate the audience with your mesmerizing moves. Dance isn’t just about movement—it’s about passion, creativity, and storytelling. Whether your forte is hip-hop, classical, contemporary, or freestyle, this competition is the perfect platform to make your art shine.

General Guidelines

Eligibility:

• All team members must be from the same institute.
• The event is open for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• There is no limit to the number of teams participating from a single institute.
• However, no student can be part of more than one team from the same institute.
• Each team must consist of 3 to 12 participants.

Performance Rules:

• There is no constraint on the dance form or style.
• The final round will be conducted offline at the campus.
• The usage of props is allowed; however, teams must bring their own. The organizers reserve the right to approve or disallow props on stage.
• Usage of fire and colors is strictly prohibited.
• Only registered teams will be allowed to participate. On-spot registrations will not be allowed.

Registration & Timeline:

• Registration Start Date: 16th January 2025
• Last Date for Registration: 31st January 2025
• Last Date for Preliminary Round Submission: 31st January 2025
• Preliminary Round Results Announcement: 3rd February 2025
• Final Round Date: 8th February 2025

Competition Rounds

Round 1: The Rhythm Auditions (Online)

Submission Requirements:

• Format: Online
• Time Limit: 1-3 minutes per team
• Video Naming Format: Dash_TeamName_Unmute

Selection Process:

• The top teams will qualify for Round 2 based on their performance.
• Results will be communicated via email.

Timeline:

• Start: 16th January 2025, 09:00 AM IST
• End: 31st January 2025, 11:59 PM IST

Round 2: The Dance Showdown (Offline)

• Format: Offline
• Time Limit: 3-5 minutes per team
• Location: Radisson Hotel, Udyog Vihar Phase 3
• Final schedule will be communicated via website & Instagram page.
• Start: 8th February 2025, 10:00 AM IST
• End: 8th February 2025, 10:00 PM IST

Judging Criteria

Performances will be judged based on the following parameters:

• Choreography (30%)
  • Movements, transitions, and stage presence.
• Creativity & Wow Factor (25%)
  • How captivating and unique the performance is.
• Costumes & Props (15%)
  • Visual appeal and how well they enhance the performance.
• Expressions (15%)
  • Emotional connection and delivery.
• Overall Presentation (15%)
  • How well all elements tie together.

Code of Conduct

• Respect all participants, organizers, and audience members.
• The use of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substances is strictly forbidden.
• Any damage to equipment or venue property will be charged to the responsible team.

Disqualification Criteria

Teams may be disqualified for the following reasons:

• Use of offensive or inappropriate content.
• Exceeding the allocated time limit.
• Disruptive behavior or misconduct on/off stage.
• Failure to comply with judges’ or organizers’ decisions.
