- Results Announcement: Results will be declared on unstop at least one week before the final event.
Faisla-e-Mizaj (Offline)
The top 10 teams from the elimination round will take center stage at UnMute 2025, hosted at the DLF Cyberpark, Gurugram. With a 25-minute window (23 minutes for the act + 2 minutes for wrap-up), teams must deliver their best before the buzzer sounds!

General Guidelines
Eligibility:
- Participants must be enrolled in a recognized college or university
- Each team must consist of members from the same institution (intercollege teams are not allowed)
Registration:
- Teams must register online through UnStop by the specified deadline
- Registration should include the team’s name, a list of members, contact details, and the name of their institution.
Performance Format:
- Performance language can be Hindi, English, or bilingual
- Teams must arrange their own props
- No use of fire, inflammable materials, or hazardous props is allowed
Rounds
1. Pehchaan ka Daura
Showcase your theatrical brilliance through a video submission in this qualifying round.
- Team Size: Up to 30 members.
- Duration: Minimum 9 minutes, maximum 15 minutes.
- Submission Deadline: 28th January 2024, 11:59 PM IST.
- Results Announcement: Results will be declared on unstop at least one week before the final event.
2. Faisla-e-Mizaj
The top 10 teams from the elimination round will battle it out live at UnMute 2025, held at the Masters’ Union Campus, Gurugram.
- Performance Time: Maximum 25 minutes (23 minutes for the act + 2 minutes for wrap-up, including setup and teardown). A buzzer will ring at the 23rd minute.
- Technical Rehearsal: Each team will get a 5-10 minute technical rehearsal slot before the finals.
- Time Penalties: Exceeding the allotted time will result in penalties.
- Prop Requirements: Teams must inform organizers about any specific prop needs at least one week in advance. Requests will be accommodated based on availability.
- Performance Slots: Slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Teams can exchange slots mutually but must notify the organizers in advance.
Judging Criteria
Performances will be judged on the following parameters:
- Script originality and social relevance
- Performance impact and audience engagement
- Acting and character portrayal
- Overall theatrical execution
- Team coordination and adherence to time
Technical Details
- Teams must bring their own props and costumes
- A technical rehearsal slot will be provided before the performance
Code of Conduct
- Teams must adhere to community guidelines and avoid offensive, derogatory, or inappropriate content
- Respect all participants, organizers, and audience members
- Any damage to venue property will result in penalties
Disqualification
Teams may be disqualified for the following reasons:
- Use of offensive or inappropriate content
- Disruptive behavior or misconduct
- Failure to comply with the judges’ or organizers’ decisions
