From cracking riddles in a high-energy relay to taking the hot seat in the grand finale, this event will push your limits and test your trivia prowess. Whether you’re a pop culture enthusiast, a business buff, or just someone who knows a little bit about everything, this is your chance to prove you’ve got what it takes to become the ultimate QuizStar!

Eligibility:

• Participants must be enrolled in a recognized college or university.
• Each team must consist of only 2 members. No changes in team composition are allowed once registration is complete.
• All members of the team must belong to the same institution.

Registration:

• Teams must register online through Unstop by the specified deadline.
• Registration should include the Team name, list of members, contact details, name of their institution, and the personal email ID of team members.

Judging and Disputes : The quizmaster’s decision will be final and binding.

Other Rules:

• Time Limit: Each question must be answered within the allotted time. Late responses will not be considered.
• Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie, a special tie-breaker question will decide the winner.
• Device Usage: No mobile phones, smartwatches, or electronic gadgets are allowed during the quiz.
• Audience members are not permitted to assist teams during the quiz.
• The questions will be related to Business, Entertainment, and General Affairs.
• Questions may be in various formats, such as multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, visual clues, and rapid-fire.

Competition Rounds

Ande ka Funda (Online)

All registered teams will participate in a classic MCQ quiz covering diverse topics. Speed and accuracy are key!
Evaluation: Top 15 teams (based on scores and time taken) will qualify for the next round.

Riddle Relay (Offline)

Selected Teams will be invited to participate in a relay-style challenge offline at Westin, Gurugram . Each team member will answer questions alternately, passing the baton to their partner after completing their turn. This continues until the team completes all the riddles.

• Winning Criteria: Teams will be judged on correct answers and completion speed.
• Wildcard Entry: losing teams can earn a wildcard entry to the final round by performing a surprise task, given by the winners and organizers. Only one team will secure this wildcard spot.
• Prizes for Winners: Winners of this round will receive products created by MU students.

Kaun Banega QuizStar (Offline)
Qualified teams (including the wildcard entry) will compete in a high-stakes finale. Each team member will nominate one team member to take the Hot Seat.

Structure:

• 20 rapid-fire questions
• 4 lifelines available
• Evaluation based on correct answers, speed, and minimal lifeline usage
• Winning Teams: Top 3 teams will be awarded.

Code of Conduct:

• Respect all participants, organizers, and audience members.
• The use of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substances is strictly forbidden.
• Any damage caused to equipment or venue property will be charged to the responsible Team.

Disqualification:

• Teams may be disqualified for the following reasons:
• Use of offensive or inappropriate lyrics/themes.
• Exceeding the allocated time limit by more than 3 minutes.
• Disruptive behavior or misconduct on/off-stage.
• Failure to comply with the judges’ or organizers’ decisions.
