Masters’ Union, one of India’s premier business schools, proudly presents Fashion Fusion, a one-of-a-kind fashion extravaganza at Unmute, our grand cultural festival.
This is your moment to let your designs do the talking, impress the crowd with your creativity, and earn the title of Fashion Fusion Champion.
Whether your style speaks through bold contemporary looks, reimagined traditional wear, or futuristic designs, this event is your canvas to unleash your imagination. From intricate details to jaw-dropping ensembles, every step on the runway will define your story.

General Guidelines:
- Eligibility:
- Participants must be enrolled in a recognized college or university.
- Each team must consist of at least 3 and no more than 8 members.
- All members of the team must belong to the same institution.
- Registration:
- Teams must register online through Unstop by the specified deadline.
- Registration should include the team’s name, a list of members, contact details, the name of their institution, and the personal email ID of any one team member.
- Performance Format:
- Each team will be allowed a total of 15 minutes (2 min- stage set up, 10 min ramp walk ,remaining time for stage cleaning)
- Teams exceeding the time limit will face a deduction of points.
- Genres and Originality:
- Teams will present their designs in a dynamic live ramp walk.
- Each team must incorporate a prop that complements their design.
- Judging and Disputes:
- The judges' decision will be final and binding.
- Any disputes must be addressed to the organizing committee within an hour of the performance.
Competition Rounds:
Round 1: Glam Walk
The spotlight is on you as you take the stage for the much-awaited Ramp Walk at Masters’ Union’s cultural fest. This offline event is where you bring your submitted designs to life and showcase your creativity on the runway.
Event Details:
- Theme: FEARLESS FASHION
- Live Ramp Walk: Participants will present their designs in a dynamic live ramp walk, giving their ideas a tangible form. This is your moment to shine!
- Each team gets a 12-minute time slot, where the first 2.5 minutes are for the stage setup, and the rest are for performing the walk routine.
- Teams will have a few additional minutes at the end of the walk to talk about their motives, explain their design, and answer the judges’ questions. Two representatives must be chosen per team to carry out this process.
- Exceeding the 12-minute stage setup and performance time will lead to a deduction of points.
Music Submission:
- Background music plays a vital role in setting the tone. Please submit your chosen music track in MP3 format in advance to ensure a smooth presentation.
Judging Criteria:
Participants will be evaluated based on the following parameters:
- Design Aesthetics (30%): Creativity, craftsmanship, and overall visual appeal of the outfits.
- Stage Presence & Presentation (20%): Confidence, poise, and how well the designs are showcased on the runway.
- Originality & Innovation (25%): Unique concepts, fresh ideas, and innovative use of materials or themes.
- Coordination & Styling (15%): Harmonious blending of outfits, accessories, makeup, and overall styling.
- Adherence to Theme & Rules (10%): Alignment with the event theme and compliance with time limits and guidelines.
Technical Details
Props and Costumes:
- Participants must bring their own props, costumes, and accessories required for their performance.
- Ensure all items align with the theme and are safe for use on stage.
Stage Time:
- Each team will have a 12-minute slot to showcase their collection.
- Participants must plan their presentation to fit within the allotted time.
Background Music:
- Teams must submit their background music track in advance.
- All audio files will be checked for quality and compatibility before the performance.
Technical Support:
- Standard stage lighting and sound systems will be provided.
- Teams may request specific lighting cues or effects, subject to feasibility, by notifying the organizers beforehand.
Code of Conduct:
- Respect all participants, organizers, and audience members.
- The use of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substances is strictly forbidden.
- Any damage caused to the equipment or venue property will be charged to the responsible team.
Disqualification:
- Use of offensive or inappropriate themes, designs, or props.
- Exceeding the 12-minute stage time.
- Misconduct or disruptive behavior on or off the stage.
- Failure to follow judges’ or organizers’ instructions.
