Blind Coding: Stages and Timelines

Quiz Round

Guidelines: The round will be conducted online via Slido. Each team will face a total of 15 fact and concept-based programming-related multiple choice questions. The round will be conducted within a set duration of 10 minutes. Teams will be evaluated based on the number of correct answers and time. Correct and quick responses will be given more preference.

Offline Round - Coding with Bhailang

This round will have a duration of 1 hour. Each team will solve 5 coding questions based on simple conditional statements and loops. The solutions must be implemented using Bhailang. Teams will be evaluated based on accuracy and passed test cases. THE TOP 15 TEAMS WILL BE SELECTED FOR THE THIRD ROUND.

Offline Round - DSA Challenge

This round will have a duration of 1.5 hours. Each team will encounter 3 data structures and algorithms (DSA) questions(2 medium, 1 hard). Participants can use any programming language of their choice. One member of each team will be responsible for typing the code without visual access to the screen. The non-blindfolded teammates with access to the screen will act as guides, providing verbal instructions and assistance to their partner. If teammates are found assisting each other non-verbally, it will lead to disqualification of the team. Only the top 3 performing teams will be declared as winners. Winners will be determined based on the cumulative scores from all three questions, and in case of a tie between any two teams, time will be the deciding factor.
