This contest is designed for coders who are passionate about problem-solving and eager to put their Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) skills to the test. It’s not just about getting the right answer—it’s about pushing yourself to think critically, optimize your code, and tackle challenges efficiently. This contest combines coding tasks with MCQ questions, giving you a chance to showcase both your practical and theoretical knowledge. Whether you’re an experienced programmer looking for a new challenge or someone who wants to improve their DSA skills, this is the perfect opportunity to grow. You'll be competing with like-minded individuals, learning from every challenge, and getting one step closer to mastering the art of algorithmic thinking. Eligibility:
- Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from any recognized college or university.
- Participants must have a basic understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
- Inter-college participation is allowed: Participants from different colleges can compete individually.
- Inter-specialization participation is allowed: Students from different academic specializations (e.g., computer science, IT, electronics, etc.) can participate.
Contest Format:
- The contest will consist of 1 round with a single set of questions:
- 1 Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) focusing on DSA concepts.
- 1 Coding Problem that requires applying DSA techniques to solve.
Number of Questions/Problem Statements:
- 1 MCQ question on DSA concepts.
- 1 Coding Problem statement involving practical application of DSA.
Duration:
- Total Duration: 45 min
- MCQ: 15 minutes to answer the MCQ question.
- Coding Problem: 30 minutes to solve the coding problem.
Additional Guidelines:
- The contest is individual; each participant competes alone.
- Each participant must complete and submit their solutions within the given time limit.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Any form of cheating or unfair practices will lead to disqualification.
- Ensure that all solutions are final before submission as no changes will be allowed after submission.
- Adherence to the contest timeline and rules is mandatory.
Judging Criteria:
- MCQ will be evaluated based on correct answers.
- Coding Problem will be assessed based on the correctness, efficiency, and quality of the code.
