Round 1 - The Screening Round
This round is your ticket to the main stage! An online showdown where only the best rise to the top. Crush it here, and you'll be invited to the ultimate in-person hackathon, where the real action begins.
Submission Details: It's an open pitch! We want to see your most creative and innovative ideas. Your submission should contain a detailed description of the problem statement and the proposed solution in a clear and concise manner.
Submission Format: Either a 2 minute video or a 1-2 page report detailing the problem, your idea and how you plan to execute
Final Round - Hackathon
The Final Frontier – an electrifying 24-hour hackathon filled with creativity, adrenaline, and epic challenges! Gear up for a non-stop coding marathon where you and your team will innovate, play hard, and push the boundaries of what’s possible. With dynamic problem statements across four thrilling tracks, it's your time to shine. Teams will collaborate, break through barriers, and build groundbreaking solutions (No hardware projects will be allowed in this round). Along the way, expect fun mini-games, surprises, and a community vibe like no other. After the intense grind, you'll present your project to a panel of top-tier industry experts who will crown the champions.

Guidelines:
- Project Development:
- Work on the project must only begin at the official start of the hackathon. Pre-work or preparation is not allowed. (That includes any repositories, art, etc.).
- Open-source tools, libraries, and APIs can be used for project development.
- All code and project work must be original. Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
- Participants should follow the spirit of fair competition throughout the event.
- Dotslash Organising Committee reserves the right to make all final decisions in case any disputes or issues.

Event Overview
The process is divided into two parts: A screening round and the final round
Round-1: The Screening Round
- Submission Requirements:
- Video: A short video explaining the your idea and execution (Max length - 2 minutes)
- Write-Up: Alternatively, teams can also submit a detailed written report about the same. (Max length-2 pages)
We are looking for people who make things happen, so make sure to highlight your technicalities and approach for execution as much as your idea.

- Teams are encouraged to pitch any creative and out-of-the-box ideas they can dream up!
- There's no need to stick to predefined boundaries—just bring your coolest, most unique concepts to the table.
- If your idea is fresh, fun, and shows great potential, we'd love to see it!
- Shortlisting Criteria:
- You will be evaluated on the creativity and the originality of your idea as well as your proposed execution and tech stack.
- Technical Depth in the pitch is encouraged
The selected teams from the first round will be invited to the final round at Plaksha University.
Please note that while transportation and accommodation are not provided, all participants will enjoy complimentary meals and exclusive goodies.
Final Round (Offline Hackathon):
- Tracks will be provided for teams to innovate in, with each team having its own winner and prize pool (both cash and goodies).
- In addition, there will also be sponsored problems statements under each tracks which teams can choose to pursue.
- Each problem statement also has its own prizes that teams can win in addition to the main prize pool.
- Tracks and problem statements will be made public a few days before the final round.
- There are also minigames that participants can take part in for chances to win swag and other cool prizes.
