Tech Hackathon: Stages and Timelines
Offline Round
20 teams will be shortlisted and will get a chance to attend the hackathon on campus. Please note - We won't be sponsoring your accommodation and travel expenses for the offline round at FITT-IITD
Online Round
Out of a pool of participants registered online, teams will be screened out and around 20 teams will be selected based on a certain set of criteria.

Tech Future Hackathon aims to support promising entrepreneurs to grow from the R&D phase to developing workable prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for Industry 5.0 use cases.
Tech Future hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide innovators with a platform to solve some of the most pressing problems.
Teams are invited to solve the challenges related to -
- Smart city
- Deep tech
- Cyber security
- Drone
- Computer vision
Who can participate?
If you are a student/entrepreneur/working professional/faculty/research scholar or aspiring Indian start-up at the ideation stage and pre-MVP/prototype stage then you are the one we are looking for.

- An autonomous statutory organization, IIT Delhi, is functioning in terms of the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961 amended vide the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963 and the Statutes framed thereunder.
- Objectives of the Institute:
- To offer instruction in Applied Science and Engineering of a standard comparable to the best in the world.
- To provide adequate facilities for postgraduate study and research to meet the needs of specialized research workers and teachers.
- To provide leadership in curriculum planning, laboratory development, and examination systems.
- To institute programmes for faculty development both for their own staff and for the teachers of other engineering colleges.
- To establish teaching and research programmes of an interdisciplinary nature.
- To develop close co-operation with industry through the exchange of personnel, continuing education programmes, and consultancy services to solve live industrial problems.
- To develop strong collaborative links with other Institutions and organizations including National Laboratories and Government Departments.
- To develop continuing education programmes for employed engineers and make them available both on campus and by distance learning techniques at off-campus locations.
- To anticipate the technological needs for India and plan and prepare to cater to them.
- To prepare instructional resource material in the conventional as well as the audio-visual; the video and the computer-based modes.
- To interact with the community at large to inculcate in our country women and men a feel for scientific thought and endeavor.
- To cater to the development of a culture for conservation and maintenance.
- To organize our study programmes to prepare manpower also for self-employment and for the unorganized sector.
