Winter Coding Contest 5.0

Guidelines:

• The first round of the contest is free of charge; no registration fee is required.
• Teams advancing to Round 2 must confirm their participation by paying a registration fee of Rs. 250/- per team.
• The contest is open only to students currently pursuing B.Tech program.
• The last date to register for the contest is 23rd October, 2025.
• Round 1 will be conducted online on 24th October, 2025.
• This round will last 90 minutes and is an online coding round.
• Participants who perform well in Round 1 will qualify for Round 2, scheduled to be held in person at the VNR VJIET campus on 1st November, 2025.
• The final round will last 120 minutes and will take place on campus.
• Participants can register individually or as a team of 2.
• Each participant can be part of only one team; registering for multiple teams will lead to disqualification of those teams.
• All submissions will be checked for plagiarism to ensure fairness using a plagiarism detector.
• The highest score achieved for each problem will be taken into consideration.
• Team rankings will be based on total scores.
• In case of a tie, the submission time will serve as a tiebreaker.

Round 1:

• The initial round of Winter Coding Contest 5.0 is set for 24th October, 2025 and will be conducted entirely online.
• The contest will start at 8:30 PM and end at 10:00 PM, giving participants 90 minutes to solve the coding problems.
• Candidates shortlisted for the next round will be informed shortly. 

Round 2:

• Top performers from Round 1 will advance to the final round, which will take place at the VNR VJIET campus on 1st November, 2025.
• This on-campus round will have a duration of 120 minutes. 

Round 2 Perks:

• Top 5 winners will be awarded cash prizes along with certificates recognizing their achievements.
• Candidates shortlisted for Round 2 will be awarded participation certificates.
• All participants selected for the final round will receive complimentary goodies.
