Software Development Internship

Roles:

• Python Backend Engineer Intern (Machine Learning Platform)

Responsibility:

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Support integration of machine learning models into production backend systems.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage, retrieval, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to operationalize models (inference pipelines, batch jobs, APIs).
• Write clean, modular, and testable code following engineering best practices.
• Debug issues, improve performance, and contribute to system scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions in an agile setup.
• Document APIs, services, and technical workflows.

Requirements:

• Strong fundamentals in Python programming.
• Basic understanding of backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, HTTP concepts, and JSON.
• Exposure to databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar).
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (model training vs inference, data pipelines).
• Familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or scikit-learn is a plus.
• Understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
