Associate Product Manager

Role Overview:

• Support the development and delivery of AI-driven, content-heavy products used by tax and legal professionals.
• Ideal for individuals who enjoy structured problem-solving, documentation, and execution with hands-on ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Execution & Delivery:
  • Own execution of assigned product features or modules end-to-end.
  • Convert requirements into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Track progress, dependencies, and risks; escalate issues early.
• Documentation & Structuring:
  • Create and maintain product documentation (PRDs, flow diagrams, release notes).
  • Convert ambiguous inputs into structured outputs.
  • Maintain Jira tickets, sprint updates, and task breakdowns.
  • Ensure clarity and completeness before development starts.
• Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct competitive and product research when required.
  • Analyze usage data, customer feedback, and edge cases.
  • Support feature validation and post-release analysis.
  • Assist in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy and reliability.
• Cross-functional Coordination:
  • Coordinate with content, editorial, sales, and operations teams.
  • Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Follow up on action items and close loops independently.

Requirements:

• Must-Have:
  • 1–3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, Operations, or similar roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and comfort with documentation-heavy work.
  • Ability to work with partial information and ambiguity.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Structured thinker who can break down problems into clear steps.
• Good-to-Have:
  • Exposure to SaaS, enterprise software, or AI-based products.
  • Experience working with engineers, designers, or domain experts.
  • Basic understanding of Agile / Scrum.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Excel, SQL, dashboards).
