Role Overview:

  • As a Business Development Associate, you will drive enrollments for flagship programs such as Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA).
  • Focus on engaging prospective learners, understanding their career goals, and converting qualified leads into enrollments.
  • Ideal for freshers and early-career professionals passionate about sales, career counselling, and EdTech, seeking a high-growth B2C sales career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learner Engagement & Sales:
    • Identify and engage prospective learners through calls, digital platforms, and referrals.
    • Understand learner backgrounds, career aspirations, and learning needs.
    • Counsel learners on Scaler’s DSA and other upskilling programs.
    • Convert qualified leads into enrollments and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Lead Management & CRM:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and interactions in CRM systems.
    • Track follow-ups, conversions, and pipeline status.
  • Revenue & Performance:
    • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
    • Monitor personal sales performance and continuously improve conversion rates.
  • Market & Competitor Insights:
    • Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis.
    • Share insights with internal teams to improve sales strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Coordinate with onboarding, operations, and academic teams to ensure a smooth learner experience.
    • Support learners through the enrollment and onboarding journey.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in any stream (Bachelor’s degree mandatory).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interest in B2C sales, target achievement, and customer interaction.
  • Experience in B2C sales or EdTech sales is preferred but not mandatory for freshers.
  • Basic understanding of LSQ (Lead Scoring & Qualification) is an added advantage.
  • Confident, goal-oriented, and result-driven mindset.
  • Ability to handle objections and close conversations effectively.
