Details
Role Overview:
- As a Business Development Associate, you will drive enrollments for flagship programs such as Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA).
- Focus on engaging prospective learners, understanding their career goals, and converting qualified leads into enrollments.
- Ideal for freshers and early-career professionals passionate about sales, career counselling, and EdTech, seeking a high-growth B2C sales career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learner Engagement & Sales:
- Identify and engage prospective learners through calls, digital platforms, and referrals.
- Understand learner backgrounds, career aspirations, and learning needs.
- Counsel learners on Scaler’s DSA and other upskilling programs.
- Convert qualified leads into enrollments and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Lead Management & CRM:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and interactions in CRM systems.
- Track follow-ups, conversions, and pipeline status.
- Revenue & Performance:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Monitor personal sales performance and continuously improve conversion rates.
- Market & Competitor Insights:
- Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis.
- Share insights with internal teams to improve sales strategies.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate with onboarding, operations, and academic teams to ensure a smooth learner experience.
- Support learners through the enrollment and onboarding journey.
Requirements:
- Graduate in any stream (Bachelor’s degree mandatory).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interest in B2C sales, target achievement, and customer interaction.
- Experience in B2C sales or EdTech sales is preferred but not mandatory for freshers.
- Basic understanding of LSQ (Lead Scoring & Qualification) is an added advantage.
- Confident, goal-oriented, and result-driven mindset.
- Ability to handle objections and close conversations effectively.
