Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using structured and semi-structured data.
- Build and optimize classic ML algorithms, including:
- Linear Regression
- Logistic Regression
- Ridge, Lasso, and Elastic Net
- Decision Trees
- Random Forest
- Gradient Boosting (XGBoost / LightGBM / CatBoost)
- k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN)
- Naive Bayes
- Support Vector Machines (SVM)
- Implement and evaluate regression models for prediction, forecasting, and trend analysis.
- Perform feature engineering, feature selection, and data preprocessing.
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics such as RMSE, MAE, R², Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1-score, and AUC.
- Conduct bias analysis and model validation to ensure fairness and reliability of outputs.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business problems into ML solutions.
- Ensure AI/ML outputs are reviewed and not used as the sole factor for critical or high-impact decisions.
- Document assumptions, limitations, and risks associated with models and outputs.
