About the Role
You'll be the operational nerve center of Pickcel, sitting in the Founder's Office and orchestrating efficiency across all departments. This role bridges the founder's strategic vision with day-to-day execution across Sales, Operations, Customer Support, Marketing, Product, UI/UX, and QA. You'll monitor team progress, identify bottlenecks, optimize resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement across the entire organization.
What You'll Do
Daily Operations
- Involve in standup meetings with each department (Sales, Ops, Support, Marketing, Product, UI/UX, QA) to understand progress, blockers, and resource needs
- Track weekly/monthly KPIs across all functions and flag risks/opportunities to leadership
- Monitor resource utilization: Are people working on high-impact tasks? Are we over/understaffed anywhere?
- Identify process gaps in real-time and escalate for quick resolution
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Sit in on departmental meetings (Sales reviews, sprint planning, support sync, marketing strategy) to understand workflows end-to-end
- Map interdependencies: How does Sales handoff to Ops? How does Support feedback loop to Product?
- Spot bottlenecks at boundaries (e.g., Sales → Ops → Support → Marketing alignment gaps)
- Work with heads to optimize workflows, reduce friction, and improve velocity
Strategic Analysis & Optimization
- Build dashboards showing cross-functional health: conversion rates, support response times, product velocity, marketing ROI
- Recommend automation, tool upgrades, or structural changes based on data
- Partner on hiring decisions: Right headcount? Right skills? Right priorities?
- Participate in strategic discussions with founder on growth, market expansion, and execution priorities
Who We're Looking For
- Any Graduate (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering) with 1-2 years ops/analyst/business experience (Optional, Good to have)
- Experience sitting in cross-functional meetings OR working in startup operations/business analysis
- Proven ability to understand workflows, ask smart questions, and spot gaps (not just execute tasks)
- Proficiency to build dashboards and analyze data
- Structured problem-solving: Can break down complex processes and prioritize improvements
- Clear communicator who can talk to engineers, salespeople, and founders in their language
- Critical trait: Intellectual curiosity—genuinely interested in how businesses work, not just task completion
- Startup bias: Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced, high-ownership environments
