Victory is just a few taps away. Literally. All you need is a smartphone and your repository of technical knowledge. Quiz Up is a tech quiz with a twist. Instead of the conventional quizzing formats, participants answer timed questions on their smartphones.

Event Guidelines:

  • It is an individual event (Solo event).
  • Each question has four options out of which only one is correct.
  • For every question, there will be a timer displayed on the projector. Once the timer expires, you lose the opportunity to answer the question.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • Every question has equal weightage. However, in the case of ties, some questions are given higher priorities. In case there is a tie for each question, the prize money is shared between the two.
  • Use of any unfair means will lead to disqualification.

Certificate and Prizes:

  1. Prizes mentioned on the Tryst-2020 website. The Tryst Team reserves the right to make changes in the prizes based on the no. of registrations received.
  2. Certificate of Excellence to Top 5 positions.
  3. Certificate of Participation to all legal entries.
  4. Disqualified teams will not be eligible for any certificate or prize.

About Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi

  • An autonomous statutory organization, IIT Delhi, is functioning in terms of the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961 amended vide the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963 and the Statutes framed thereunder.

    10. To prepare instructional resource material in the conventional as well as the audio-visual; the video and the computer-based modes.
    11. To interact with the community at large to inculcate in our country women and men a feel for scientific thought and endeavor.
    12. To cater to the development of a culture for conservation and maintenance.
    13. To organize our study programmes to prepare manpower also for self-employment and for the unorganized sector.
