The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell, IIIT Guwahati, proudly presents Inspirathon powered by STPI, the flagship hackathon of INIZIO 2026.
This 24-hour offline hackathon brings together passionate developers, designers, and innovators from colleges across the country to build impactful, real-world solutions.
Inspirathon is more than just a competition, it is a launchpad for future entrepreneurs, problem-solvers, and tech leaders, offering participants exposure to mentors, industry experts, and the startup ecosystem.
Participants will have complete creative freedom to choose their own problem statements within the provided themes, allowing them to showcase their innovation, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills.
Teams will go through multiple evaluation rounds, including a PPT-based screening phase followed by the final offline hackathon at IIIT Guwahati.

Participation Guidelines:
- Open to all
- Inter-college teams are allowed
- Team size: 2 to 5 members
- Registration: Free
- PPT submission is mandatory to qualify for the final round
- Participants must carry a valid ID card
Rules & Regulations:
- Teams may choose any problem statement relevant to the selected theme
- Multiple evaluation checkpoints will be conducted during the hackathon
- Teams may use any programming language, framework, or open-source tools
- All submitted code must be original
- Failure to adhere to deadlines or rules may result in disqualification
- The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the event structure if required
Judging Criteria:
Teams will be evaluated on:
- Innovation – Uniqueness and creativity of the idea
- Feasibility – Practicality and implementability
- Impact – Potential for real-world application and scalability
- Technical Complexity – Depth and quality of technical implementation
- Development During Hackathon – Work completed within the 24-hour duration
- Functionality & Completion – Working prototype or closeness to completion
- Presentation & Execution – Clarity, structure, and effectiveness of the pitch
Evaluation Process:
- Online PPT Submission – Screening round
- Mid-Hackathon Checkpoints – Progress evaluations
- Final Presentation – Winner selection round
