• Team Solarmobil, MIT Manipal in collaboration with Altair presents an exciting optimization contest.
• Designed to challenge students in the fields of structural design, simulation, and optimization.
• Provides participants with hands-on experience using Altair Inspire, a powerful simulation-driven design tool.
• Objective: Analyze and optimize engineering components.

The Challenge:

• Use Altair Inspire to optimize and transform the design of a real-world engineering model.
• Demonstrate before-and-after optimization results, showcasing improvements based on specific engineering criteria.

Focus Areas Include:

• Structural Optimization
• Manufacturing Simulation
• Multibody Dynamics
• Structural Analysis
• CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
  Preference will be given to entries that utilize more of these focus areas.

How to Participate

• Choose Your Model:
  • Use models from Grabcad.com or create your own using Inspire or any other CAD software.
  • Note: Use only Altair Inspire for Optimization.

    • Key improvements made to the model
• Submit a video recording of the process on YouTube and share the link
