OpsCon: Stages and Timelines
Downtown Intel Cartel: The First Obstacle
• Quiz Duration: The quiz must be completed within 15 minutes.
• Total Questions: Participants will be allowed to answer 30 questions within the limited time of 15 minutes.
• Quiz Window: You may attempt the quiz anytime within the designated quiz window.
• Single Sitting: Ensure you complete the quiz in one sitting. Once started, the timer will run continuously.
• No Negative Marking: There will be no penalties for incorrect answers.
• Unfair Practices: Any participant found engaging in unfair practices will be immediately disqualified.
• Eligibility to Take the Quiz: Only the registered participant can take the quiz. In the case of team registration, only the team leader who registered the team can participate.
• Question Submission: You cannot revisit questions. Once you skip or submit an answer, it is final and cannot be changed.
• Ranking Criteria: Teams will be ranked based on their quiz score and the time taken to complete the quiz.
Chaos at Starfish Island - The Syndicate Uprising
• The shortlisted teams are required to submit a 3-slider PPT (excluding the Team Introduction and Thank You slides), along with all relevant supporting documents for the given case study. Communication regarding this round will be sent to the eligible teams separately.
Syndicate Trials - The Final Showdown
• This will be an Offline round! Winners of the Round-2 will be invited to the SIBM Pune Hilltop Campus and will be tested upon their skills. Communication with the winners of Round-2 will be shared later.
All that you need to know about OpsCon
OpsCon is a premier competition that tests participants' analytical, strategic, and logistical acumen. This three-round event begins with an online quiz and case study, followed by an on-campus finale featuring immersive activities inspired by the “GTA Vice City” theme. OpsCon takes you into a dynamic, Vice City–themed world of supply chain and logistics excellence.
- Team Size: 2-3 members.
- The team leader must register on behalf of the entire team.
- Only one team leader is allowed.
- Cross-specialization and cross-year teams are allowed.
- A student can be a part of only one team.
- All team members must belong to the same institution or organization.
- Multiple entries from a single team are not permitted. In such cases, the team will be disqualified.
- Any participant engaging in unfair practices will be disqualified from the competition.
- Deviation from the above-mentioned guidelines will result in the immediate disqualification of the entire team.
- All decisions regarding eligibility, authenticity, and final judgment will be made by Unstop and SIBM Pune.
- Entries are open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- The Terms and Conditions of participation are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
- The amended Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website.
- It is the sole responsibility of the teams to regularly visit the website to stay updated on any changes.
