Prometheus: Stages and Timelines
The Insight Codex
Quiz Duration: The quiz must be completed within 20 minutes.
Total Questions: Participants will be allowed to answer 30 questions within the limited time of 20 minutes.
Quiz Window: You may attempt the quiz anytime within the designated quiz window.
Single Sitting: Ensure you complete the quiz in one sitting. Once started, the timer will run continuously.
No Negative Marking: There will be no penalties for incorrect answers.
Eligibility to Take the Quiz: Only the registered participant can take the quiz. In the case of team registration, only the team leader who registered the team can participate.
Question Submission: You cannot revisit questions. Once you skip or submit an answer, it is final and cannot be changed.
Basis of Evaluation: The quiz is evaluated solely based on the total marks scored. In case of a tie, the qualification will be based on the timestamp.
Unfair Practices: Any participant found engaging in unfair practices will be immediately disqualified.
Redesign Redux
The shortlisted teams must provide a 5-slider solution (including Team Introduction, Annexure (if any, then 6 slides) and Thank you slides) along with all other supporting documents for the given case study problem. Communication for the round will be shared with the eligible teams separately on their Email IDs.
The Grand Ascent
This will be an Offline round! Winners of the Round-2 will be invited to the SIBM Pune Hilltop Campus and will be tested upon their skills. Further details will be communicated to the finalists upon qualification.
All that you need to know about Prometheus
Prometheus, organized by the Product Management & Technology Club at SIBM Pune, is a national-level case competition held as part of Transcend 2026. The event features three rounds: a quiz testing product management knowledge, a case study submission, and a final on-campus presentation. It brings together top B-school talent to tackle real-world challenges, fostering innovation and strategic thinking in product management.
- Team Size: 1-3 Members
- The team leader must register on behalf of the entire team. There can only be one leader. A student can be a part of only one team.
- Cross-specialization and cross-year teams are allowed.
- All the members should be from the same institution or organization.
- Entries can be from students in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
- Any participant resorting to unfair practices will be directly disqualified from the challenge.
- Any deviation from the above-mentioned guidelines will result in the immediate disqualification of the entire team.
- All decisions in the matter of eligibility, authenticity & final judgement will be with Unstop & SIBM Pune.
- The Terms and Conditions of participation are subject to change at any time without specific notice.
- The amended Terms and Conditions of entry will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website.
